Good Bits:
- Build and Design: Many owners love the build and design of JB Caravans. A Grey Nomads Forum member owns a 20’ Scorpion and had no after sales warranty work.
- Off Road: The Scorpion Sting Family Van has been reviewed as off road capable. Caravanning with Kids said 4.4 tonne Cruisemaster ATX suspension and underbody protection means it’s suitable for remote outback travel.
- Customer Service: Good experience with JB Caravans customer service. A Caravaners Forum member said dealing with JB was great, staff were happy to make multiple changes to the layout without any dramas.
Areas for Improvement:
- Interior Layout: Some owners have had issues with interior layouts. A JB owner on The Grey Nomads Forum had problems with the ensuite door and the washing machine was hard to get at.
- Weight: The Gator X has been mentioned for its weight. GoRV said while the payload is reasonable, you need to consider your tow vehicle capacity and the caravan weight when fully loaded.
